The future of this museum was announced at the same time that Hull City Council stated that " We intend to make Trinity Square the Covent Garden of the North". This is an important building which should continue as a museum open to the public. City of Culture?

Why close this when you are going to "make Trinity Square the Convent Garden of the North"

I found museums invaluable when trying to give my children educational days out, they must be saved for future generations & advertised more widely.

My two girls love a day out visiting ALL the museums in Hull and i love going around them too. they are very interested in our heritage. If the council start closing museums left, right and center just because it suits them, then what is going to be left for our children. We should be proud of our heritage just loke we are proud to be a city of culture. Its a shame that its the same people, who claim to be proud we won, that are now closing the museums down! we will soon be a laughing stock with nothing to show the world except how not to do it!!

My kids love this museum, it's so wonderfully worked to allow learning through play, a rare thing in museums, rather than stuffy un-engaging exhibits. A true 'how history impacted the town' museum. What are you thinking HullCC?
