Unfortunate that a future City of Culture should feel that it's a good idea to save money by ... cutting culture.

Please keep the Hands on History museum open for the citizens of Hull and for visitors to our beautiful city to enjoy. Our history and our culture should be shared and celebrated, not locked away.

Hands on History museum is just about the only museum in Hull that isn't about the fishing industry. We need variety in Hull, and Hands on History provides that. My 6 year ole son loves visiting this museum and he has learned about times gone by here. Don't close it!

Invest for the future. Economic regeneration can come from the arts/museums. That's what being City of Culture is all about.
