please save these bears... NO reason to kill just because they are roaming the streets in a neighborhood of onlookers. capture them, ALASKA is a big state... take them somewhere they will be safe...

This mother bear was protecting her family fro m stupid people. I would like to think that the Dept. of Fish and Wildlife is smarter than stupid people. Tranquilize them like we do in NY and then relocate them.

The Department of Fish and Game is CLEARLY not acting "TO PROTECT" this family by their swift decision to euthanize. For what??!! A mama bear scared for the safety of her family. She did NO WRONG. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE work with the community to secure trash, and/or find a way to relocate this family out of harms way. I have no faith in an organization that can make such an ill-thought and ill-guided decision.
