please relocate them.. it's not their fault that humans are stupid. .I'm sure there are other forests areas or people willing to help once this gets more exposure

This is one of the most disturbing things I've read in a long time. Clearly the community is OK dealing with the bears for the short time they share a space. The answer is not to simply kill them. If the government wants to keep the bears from coming into town, provide the community with the trash cans they need to keep the bears from seeking food there.

just because people are morons doesn't mean that innocent bears should suffer! Big deal she huffed at some people!! If a person was treed like a raccoon they'd huff at somebody too!!! Why not just capture them and take them somewhere safe? That is a much better idea than killing them for absolutely no good reason!

Please do not kill these innocent animals. Instead, post signs and distribute information to people on how and why they need to give all wildlife space.

keep the bear family alive!! it's not their fault. Come on people get your act together, there's gotta be another option. Just relocate the bears, don't kill them!

Please save the bears!! I know there is "something" that can be done. Alaska has plenty of "out of the way" islands, why not take the bears to one of those? It's not the bears fault that the trash was assesible. People need to be more resposible with their trash and help to discourage the wildlife from coming in to the neighborhoods.

Please reconsider your decision. This is absolutely tragic.

Humans are living on their ground and want to kill them off just like the Indians

So a family of bears should pay with their lives because the locals can't be bothered to leave them alone and force the mother to be protective....really intelligent...makes a lot of sense.

This is the medias fault. Leave momma bears and cubs alone. They're just trying to survive. And of course momma is going to be very protective of her cubs!
