I have a better idea...kill the idiot humans that caused this problem. I hate hearing stories like this.

Good Evening, please reconsider and simply tranquilize the family and relocate them. This is technically their land, careless onlookers caused this situation. Do not penalize this family!

I vote we save them. It's pointless to kill them.

its to easy to just kill them than move them. It's a cruel thing when we take over land and the animals suffer because of human stupidity.

This bear family should not die for the stupidity of human kind! Give the space they need, deserve and once had. The locals are happy to live with the bears and are trying to implement strategies to reduce bear/human conflict. Assess the whole picture of a mother PROTECTING her young before destroying a families life.

Why not relocate them deep into the Alaskan wilderness. Use some common sense people.

Please find a better solution. If you can not find a sanctuary willing to take this beautiful family; relocate them! And look for a long term solution - fix the garbage can issue; educate the public/tourists and fine people who purposely get too close. If a sanctuary has room for this family but needs financial help, just ask! I am more than willing to help sponsor this family and I know others are too.

All the people in this world who do horrendous acts against humanity, these people are fed three meals a day, free university!! one community surely must be able to assist this single mother. Remember male bears eat the babies so mama bear may feel safer around all you humans, she does have four babies to protect against everything dangerous. Help feed her out of town, call the wild life rescue organizations, there is always another way, killing this family is wrong! Don't do it!

The governor of Alaska, Bill Walker, has just ordered the bear family be relocated not euthanized. I'm so glad I voted for him!
