They should feed them away from the community for a few weeks till here's food for them so they don't come back to the town. Not rocket science! They did a study for 3 years in USA feeding bears away from communities frequented by bears and they never saw them while they id this! They are desperate!ng bears aa

It's the 21st century, and surely we can educate communities on how to make responsible choices that protect both ourselves and wildlife. Simple measures like containing garbage! Pulling out the big guns on wildlife is archaic, unethical and ecologically unsoundwhen there are always viable non-lethal methods available, and that wildlife is entitled to walk on planet earth too.

doesn't sound real from what I know about that dept. ..especially with cubs...if "a" bear is a constant threat to a community, I have still scene them relocate them away from being a dangerous threat to communities....I really find this so hard to believe that this dept would consider this of a "family" of bears.

If it weren't for us humans wildlife would thrive. Please Alaskans seal your garbage and remove bird feeders! Take responsibility for your actions and let the bears live naturally as Mother Nature meant for them.

PLEASE let them be - don't kill them because of human stupidity. Plus, DFG, your track record lately sucks, so I suggest you do something to fix your reputation as an agency that should actually CARE about Fish and Game!!!
