if no sanctuary available why not just move them far enough away that it will be winter before they could find their way back?

The bear family does not need to be killed. They can be caught and brough to a sanctuary.

cant you sedate the Bears and move them to a deeper spot in the woods away from people? Got to be better than slaughtering a whole family of bears .

This is a disgrace. Humans are the problem not the bears, but you wouldn't euthanize them for the protection of the wildlife! It's simple enough to tranq the bear family & move them away from civilization or provide them with an alternative food source. "We're killing them for their protection" is the stupidest thing I ever heard.

Please anesthesize this family of bears and relocate them to a safer area. Killing them is unnecessary...there is plenty of land where they can live out their lives and we tax payers want the funds used to protect nature not kill it!! We are living in their homes and this situation is our fault...we need to be responsible and look for other ways to resolve these types of situations besides killing anything and everything that bothers us!! We are talking about a mother peotecting her cubs...killing them is cruel and unnecessary and really bad press!!

Protect n preserve is our God given job. Why ? Because it's us humans who screw it up. We are the species that kills n pollutes .. It's us who need to be relocated or put down. ,
