Please reconsider and scare them away instead. For god's sake let wildlife live.

This is ridiculous, it's not fair to kill a family of bears because humans can't keep to themselves. Obviously if they had food they wouldn't have been there. The mother is just trying to provide for her babies. I'm sure if humans left them alone, this wouldn't be a problem.

There's no reason why they can't be relocated

Killing the bears is unacceptable! I live in an area populated by black bears and here, when the bears are a nuisance to the human residents, they are simply tranquilized and moved to a deeper area of the forest. They are never killed for the sake of public safety. People here, in this part of central Michigan, also know not to leave food, trash or bird feeders out after dusk or the early daylight hours. This should be mandatory public service information anywhere with a substantial bear population as well as the importance of never approaching wildlife. Please do the right thing, not the easy thing!

Humans are the lowest form of life on this planet.

How sick and twisted is it to kill a bear family for merely trying to survive in a world that humans are destroying for them?

No right under heaven to kill these bears. We are to protect, not destroy=Mama Bears and cubs being killed is already a tarnish on Man-Move them to where they are free to live. Humans need to share this planet as it is the bears as well as ours-What a disgrace that animals are killed as a quick solution. These animals are living sentient beings, NOT GARBAGE!
