Save the bears. Provide bear proof cans and relocate bear family to a more wilderness setting. I am from Florida and do not feed our wildlife. ..alligators! The humans need to be relocated. I would have figured out anything to prevent a bear from getting into the trash. How often is it picked up? Our trash is picked up twice a week.

It is the nature of the animal to look for food and shelter. The mother bear was only doing its duties to its cubs. Humans, who are said to be rational beings should know better than to euthanize them for public safety. This is the lamest excuse ever. I'm pretty sure there are way better solutions to this. But of course killing these poor animals is the easiest and fastest way they can think of. Such a shame.

The bears should not be punished because humans think it's ok. If somebody came up to a mother's child who was a complete stranger, the mother would be protective of her child too. Just because they are bears doesn't mean they don't care for their young in a similar way as humans.

If it is wrong to kill a human family then it is equally wrong to kill a bear family. Although the biologists are qualified, all theri claims are based on "what ifs" and this "what ifs" is causing the life of a whole bear family
