there's better ways to handle this situation such as tranquilizing the bear family and relocating them.

Please spare the bears do to humans mistakes why should their lives be taken? We as humans have already destroyed enough of their habitat for all animals & continue to do so before long the earth will only have human inhabitants it needs to stop!

Why wouldn't they be able to move them to another wilderness spot far away from humans and near a rich food source? Isn't there a lot of that in Alaska?!

Simply because of some stupid human behavior, these beautiful family is set to be euthanized? The better answer is to leave them alone or relocate them. Also, educate people about these beauties and their natural behavior, especially a momma protecting her babies.

There is a better way to handle the situation. Don't take the lazy way out, these bears are worth the effort!

The people are to blame, not the bears. Please honor your mission statement!

It's their planet. Not ours. Please move them to a different location.

It really is wrong and unfair.

It seems to me that the residents were doing OK with the bears even with them getting into their garbage. Then the media got ahold of it... Why not relocate/euthanize the stupid humans instead of hungry animals trying to survive. I know this is not possible but neither is relocating the bears into the wild. To find an area suitable it would mean putting pressure on the bears already there. There is only so much room on this planet and if people don't stop crowding the wild life we will soon have none. The crowd around the bears should all have been arrested for endangering themselves and fined heavily, then that money could have been used to help the bears.

No sane human in their right mind would intentionally trap and kill a family. Recognize them for what they are.
