I was saddened to see ADF&G's response to these bears. It's not their faults that the people in Government Hill don't properly dispose of their trash!

Please do not kill these creatures. There needs to be more consequences for people leaving trash out, etc. This is not the fault of the bears.

It is not the fault of these bears that the residents of Gonernment Hill won't take care of their trash. Please relocate this family. I have heard all the reasons why this can't be done. At least they will stand a chance out there. Cruel to make them pay for the ignorance of a few.

i think it would be better to relocate or put into a zoo. Killing them shouldn't be the only option, I have noticed that anchorage has only killed the Bears, Juneau has successfully relocated bears in the past.

We are in the bears area. As long as the bears are not hurting anyone, they should be left alone. Isn't that why we live in Alaska, to be near the wildlife? It think this puts another bad rap on Fish and Game. Are you going to kill every bear that comes in town? They were here first. If so, then why aren't you killing the moose? They are just as dangerous.

Please don't kill the bears. They don't deserve it. Surely it can't be that hard to tranquilize and relocate them.

Please don't harm them! They haven't hurt any humans, and I doubt they will if we continue to use caution and lock up our rubbish and small pets.
