Don't make the Bears pay for people being stupid. This could have been avoided.

Please just relocate the bears! Honestly, if you live in this kind of area, wouldn't you make sure your garbage was in bear-proof containers? Just a thought.

There has to be another answer. Man encroaches on animals.. It's not their fault! Show some compassion

save these bears...teach the humans better. The next time a bear ( alone or with family ) surfaces stop allowing the media to flood the area. They have to have plenty of pictures by now...next time prohibit the influx of people that do not live in the area to camp out waiting to see these beautiful animals killed due to HUMAN stupidity. Manage your humans better. Let them but thei own bear proof trash cans! Such a crime to Nature and a waste of a beautiful life due to plain stupidity.

Please relocate the bears deeper into the forest. Please don't kill them. They did nothing wrong. You can also make it illegal to crowd wildlife and give citations to those people who refuse to leave them alone.

i always thought highly of the state of Alaska due to the coexistence between people and its large population of wild animals (compared to other states). The decision the F&W is about to make is absolutely ridiculous! Especially since an adult black bear with as many as 4 cubs is rarely seen. Please help the Bears, don't kill them, they don't deserve it.

the answer is is not killing bears. It's giving humans laws and rules to follow. If they don't follow. They will have to deal with the consequences. They're are lot "killer bears" there are wild animals though. We must respect nature. Not just kill things because we don't want to try and make it work. Make it illegal for media to come and take pics.

The bears should be moved back into the wild away from town, not killed.

Don't make euthanizing an option, please. To make the bears pay for the recklessness of humans is both horrible and tragic.
