Shame on Midwestern for the insulting offer, and shame on city administrators for presenting it to the residents!

As a 15+ year citizen of Cholla, I am pleading with you to keep our Foothills Library open at its current site. Moving it to the FRAC is a bad idea. These are imcompatible uses and the parking will become a big problem during peak usage hours and seasons. Lastly, the space that has been identified for conversion to a smaller library is inadequate on so many levels. Please keep our library open at its current site!!!

It would be foolish of the city to sell tha Foothis Library at a loss while reducing the total square footage to under 1,000. The city needs more library space, not less. If they want to sell something, why not City Hall?

This proposal is like closing a full-service grocery and telling local residents they can make do with a Circle K instead.

If the FBL is sold to MWU it will be just another in the growing list of bad financial decisions that the City of Glendale has made.

Citizens have a voice. We do not want this library closed. Seniors use it. Children use. Seniors take their children to use it.

Our Foothills Library has been a wonderful resource for generations. I used it as an adult, my children used it and now my grand children are using it. Selling the Foothills Library and downsizing the many, many wonderful hard copy books would be a real disservice to the tax paying residents of Glendale. We voted for it - leave it where it is!!!!!!

The city has many other property assets that could be sold. Out library system is woefully inadequate and needs the resources to bring it up to national standards.
