As the first Library Operations Supervisor at Foothills, I find this whole selling situation ludicrous. This library serves the Glendale citizens, and should continue to serve them at their present location. Relocating the library to the Aquatic center is a total disservice to the Glendale citizens. Please save this library!

actually speak to all of them. Lauren Tolmachoff is a foothills supporter but I have the feeling that all the council and mayor want to see the foothills library stay... I believe this was a sales issue involving Fischer and ... well she is history.

The intent of the meeting was to provide the Commission with a presentation of the concept, answer any of its questions, and provide an opportunity for the public to comment on the item. As a follow up action, the Commission is being asked to make a formal recommendation to the Mayor and Council regarding this concept. The recommendation and all other public input related to this item will then be shared at a future City Council Workshop for final direction on the concept. Chihuly's work is featured around the world. Please don't sell one of the few elegant, classy things about Glendale. Please vote to keep the entire complex -- Skunk Creek path, Library, ball parks, FRAC, skate park, dog parks -- intact and a treasure for Glendale. Arrowhead residents don't take this for granted.

Selling the library to Midwestern for 5 million was part of the agreement before the library was built.

Please save the Glendale, Foothills Library!

We urge the city council NOT to sell the Foothills library. It is a bad idea, eliminates badly needed space at the FRAC for our children and community, erodes the public trust, and steps on the tax payer's best interests. DON'T DO IT!

Save Foothills. Losing this library would negatively affect all Glendale library users.

We need this valuable asset not just because of the financial issues but the sense of place and community that it provides

I need a Library to go to when I'm in school. Don't close my library.
