I am absolutely against the "relocation" of the Glendale Foothills library. The library is one of the main reasons I live in Glendale and the new proposal shortchanges the library, the rec center, and the people of Glendale.

I do not want to see the downsizing of Foothills Library. I also do not want to loose the space at the Aquatics Center. My wife and I use both, this does not present a positive change in our opinion.

we should not be closing our library to make up money from previous poor financial decisions like building a hockey stadium without thoroughly investigating the investors.

A beautiful library should not be crammed into a much smaller building. This is not a good idea to sell the building to Midwestern

The loss of a public library for a space one third it's size is a great loss of an asset. The loss of a library of such dollar value for such a small price is even worse.

The library is a very important part of many families' lives. When we moved to Glendale over 33 years ago, I began taking my children to the library each week. We went for programs and to browse. Nothing digital can replace the pleasure a child feels when leisurely looking through shelves of books. To take this experience away from our current and future children is disgraceful. It was bad enough when the hours were reduced, but this is even worse. This's very bad idea for Glendale residents
