I grew up at 481 Main St, next door to this house. This home is part of Stoneham history as is mine. Homes listed on the National Registry of Historic Homes should not be allowed to tear down. That would mean any historic building could be destroyed. How tragic.

It was my family home for years my father got it on the national registry to make sure this wouldn’t happen. It would be a loss of a piece of Stoneham’s history. It is a same and should not be tolerated.

I don't know that a brand-new structure will make sense for Stoneham. A historically significant site with the capabilities to be modified for modern use seems like the right move.
