Don't tear down this beautiful old church for a gas station and convenience store. That kind of sprawl is a plague upon our cities! The church should sell to the town of Cumberland so the building can be kept and repurposed.

I grew uP in the area and have been back set real times. The area does not need another gas/convenience store in that area. It is a beautiful church and should be on the list of national historical society.

as a commercial property owner in Cumberland my husband, Ron, and I are very much opposed to the church building being demolished. we feel the town needs this historic anchor to maintain the integrity and heritage of this lovely area. ,
