How professional can DOT. the legislature and department of tourism be? with no policy in place to ensure engineering experience in covered bridge maintenance, seems more like "not my job, got a public $ pension" This is NB, not like the bridges just popped up like mushrooms....they have been here for 100 years.....and the province has zero ability to deal with it other than destroy it

We keep losing our heritage piece by piece and then wonder why the province feels plain. Save the bridge, fix it if needed, but dont take away one of the last things that makes NB special.

These covered bridges are a crucial part of New Brunswick and Canadian history. There must be a practical way to save these treasures, instead of relegating them to memory. Save the bridge; save all covered bridges!

Covered bridges are part of NB heritage & should be looked after in that way. They should never be torn down but repaired whenever needed.

I lived in the area for over 12 years. My kids swam under that bridge. New Brunswick is know as the cover bridge province. Don't take away our tourist attractions. The government of NB should be building more covered bridges instead of tearing them down.
