I believe our government is short sighted in not maintaining all covered bridges in NB including French River. They are a part of our history and should be all made heritage property.

This bridge has a lot of memories attached to it. If they demolish it then most of my memories of my grandfather would go with it.

My moms family is from NB and on a family trip we stopped by this Bridge and it was a great moment for us. Hopefully it is allowed to stay, and many more families in the future can have as great a moment as we had!
