I dont understand why demolition would be consided. Our history definitely must be preserved.

To destroy this piece of history would do a disservice to the area - history is Morrisburg's best attribute. Surely it could become a tourist office or something suitable that enhances its value.

With so few historical buildings of this time period yet in existence - and this being "where Ontario began," it seems more solutions should be explored, rather than permanently losing this critical piece of our history.
