Even in its current state, it is a very beautiful building. Please let it stand and give the community a building to use, or let the Stepping Stones Skol Kensa Nursery use it for bigger needed premises.

I went to Carclaze infants ('75 to '78). It was a beautiful building, with an impressive glass roofed main hall with wood blocked floor, constructed when builders took pride in their work.

Save the building it's part of Cornish heritage,convert into flats or a community center not car parking !!!

This is one of the more historic buildings of the immediate area and therefore one of the more attractive...or will you be doing what most 'developers' do in St Austell and rip it down to build something that not only looks like it has been put up in 10 minutes but also doesn't age well in the environment and doesn't last 5 minutes. This building has been standing a long time and still looks good. As usual let's just mindlessly rip anything down that has some history and might add value to St Austell's general aesthetic appeal. Am I right is this the logic? (This question is retorical as I don't need it answered. I know the reason will be down to somebody's greed.)

That was my primary school! Great memories. Convert the building into flats like the old Mount Charles school - keep the history and a beautiful building!!

This school is a major part of our town. Was my infants school and my brothers before me. This building has lots of memories for so many young and old. It also is a stunning building which should be kept as it is and has bin all of its existence. There too many new builds going up in St.Austell. let's try keep some of our history.
