in my work, it should be turned into accommodation flats or low cost housing, for those living in the area, yes still retaining its character and using the original stone work

Would be such a shame to close and demolish this school. Its part of St. AUSTELLS Heritage my 2 girls went there and it should stay for children of St. Austell

This was my school my children’s school and I have lived in Tregonissey and Carclaze all my life

It would be such a travesty and waste, for a beautifully designed building like this, to be lost. I’m sure the superb exterior would be admired by future generations if it were to be saved. It would be gross vandalism for the council to demolish this lovely granite building.

I think historic buildings shoukd be repurposed not demolished. Too many historic buildings have been lost in this area..In the last 30 years we have seen several such buildings left to rot and disintegrate and then be demolished. Save this buikding for community use and small low cost accommodation for local people.
