More and more innocent foals are being killed every year, more than 100,000,000 were killed last year. They are being slaughtered because the owners can't afford to pay the stud price or to kill them so why breed them? Or they could give them to someone who could to someone that has always wanted a horse or foal but can't. Think about this: how is is affecting the mare knowing that she will know that the foal has been killed as she'll hear the gun shot sound, how will she react to you? She'll probably hate you and so therefore then you'll kill her too which isn't fair. Horses aren't something that you can kill whenever you want they are something you love and cherish, a horse and foal is someone that will love you forever and that you love too. They are NOT a TOY!! They are NOT something that YOU can ABANDON

I have been reading your messages about these horses all morning and the stories you share are breaking my heart. My own mare still trembles at loud noises and it reminds me why I started this fight in the first place.

Seeing this kind of momentum brings tears to my eyes because I think of all the horses that never had a chance. Knowing that so many people feel this deep pain for these innocent lives gives me real hope for a change in how we treat them.

If you can not afford to look after both then don't do it at all NOT BIG AND NOT CLEVER!

It's just wrong to kill foals how would people who killed the foal LIKE IT IF WE JUST WENT AND KILLED THEIR KIDS?
