Elaine’s shop is part of the fabric of Herne Hill. She has supplied the community with flowers for years and deserves better treatment than this. Do not close her down.

It would be a terrible loss to Herne Hill if The Flower Lady was taken over by Network Rail. I hope you can find an alternative solution.

Can we just stop messing around with Herne Hill now newirk rail. Your demolition of community and war on familiarity and tradition really needs to come to an end. I’m tired of corporate sponsored hipster shops, put community ahead of pounds. This is ultimatelyall about money.

The Flower Lady is not just a flower shop. Elaine is a vital part of the community, ironically she is one of the reasons Herne Hill has the sort of vibe that has made it so gentrifiable... You can find another location for a substation, but Elaine can't be relocated so easily. This is her livelihood. She really cares about the community, and the community cares about her back. Lose her and you lose much much more than a flower shop.

A place of beauty and should not be replaced with ugliness. Why don't planner consider the quality of life when seeking to destroy little gems like this one at Herne Hill?
