This lady is serving her local community bringing joy to peoples lives by providing beautiful flowers

This lovely, original shop is a blessing to the area and brings beauty to the tunnel exit. Please don't replace it with an ugly sub station!

Elaine is an institution! The Flower Lady is the go to place for beautiful blooms, gossip and a real sense of community. She epitomises all that is good about Herne Hill

Our lovely Flower Lady should not suffer as a result of bad planning by Network Rail. Find some alternatives to put to the local community for proper consultation!

I employ you to try a little harder to find an suitable alternative. How about your own depo just up the tracks. I'm not sure why the local community has to suffer anymore

This is an important iconic feature of this community and should remain.

Herne Hill shops are a focal point for the wider community and Network Rail must not be allowed to further disrupt and degrade this lovely area. It is a small shopping center and merchants should not be removed.

In a world of chain stores and generic town centres need independent sellers and local characters!

I can't think of part of Herne Hill that makes fills it with more colour and life. This is a wonderful building and an enriching part of the community. It's very much disheartening to hear Network Rail discarding an area and community where it operates. They may not see the implications of decisions like this, but added up, all these changes will lower the charm, value and positivity of an area: the things that make people happy, the things that make society beneficial for everyone.

Do the right thing - leave Elaine's shop alone. Hers does more good for the community than all the new/chic places put together.. which is obvious to anyone who's spends a bit of time there..

Elaine and her flower shop are a really important part of the Herne Hill community.

Please keep this place alive she's wonderful and loved by the community and she gave me my pet rabbit whos now five and called Rooooo
