Big business riding roughshod over the little person, yet again!

Elaine and her beautiful shop are the heart of that bit of Herne Hill - Elaine does much much more than sell flowers She is like the ravens at the Tower - if Elaine goes, it will be the death of the Herne Hill we love. Couldn't they replace one of the shops on Milkwood Road with the substation?

The flower Lady is a friendly and important member of our community. Her shop brightens the square and brings smiles to our faces. Come on, Network Rail, use some imagination and find a more suitable location.

Her shop is an ornament to the vicinity and I hope your petition helps to preserve her business.

The Flower Lady has built up her reputation and business over very many years. She is an integral to the Herne Hill community.

Flower lady has been there the 15 years I've been in the area, she did my wedding flowers and knows the kids. Would be so sad to see her go.

I live 15 minutes walk from the Flower Lady and it’s a much needed community space. And we need small businesses like this that make a genuine contribution. Find another solution, you don’t need to trampling all over real community assets.

We will lose many beloved shops due to their extortionate and greedy rents and mismanagement. They are destroying the quirky, vibrant atmosphere of Herne Hill, replacing it with a homogenous, soulless, empty walk through.

Its outrageous that NR should even think of doing this

Save Elaine's shop! It is part of what makes Herne Hill a joy to live in...local shop, lovely lady, flowers and chat. Why should she lose her shop? Find another location, Network Rail.

Elaine and her flower shop are a much loved Herne Hill institution. Can't a substation go somewhere else? Losing the flower shop would be an enormous loss to the community! Good luck Elaine!

Gorgeous little shop bringing colour and life to Herne Hill being replaced with an electrical substation. Could there be anything more ironic and grotesque?!

Elaine has done so much for this area and she has made that corner a safe and welcoming place to be. We love our flower lady! Her business shouldn't suffer for NR's bad planning. Why can they use one of the areas by the track side, in the station or under the arches?

Network rail need to remember the businesses they so flippantly ruin are the reason for the attraction to areas, and the flower lady is one of the wonderful businesses that make up the character of herne hill! Removing her is removing a chunk of soul from Herne hill! :(

Elaine’s beautiful shop is the heart of our community. We have all worked so hard together to make Herne Hill the place it is today. Please don’t take this away from us.

This is an essential amenity to our community and beautiful asset to the station . Its a no brainer that somewhere else must be found for the substation. Wake up Network Rail for humanity's sake.
