I believed ,you are making a big mistake by cutting all the programs offered at John Marshall High School . As a parent ,I must raised my voice to to asked you to please think over of all and to keep funding these programs. I t is for the benefit of the minorities that take advantage of them. My daughter attends to many of these programs and gets support academically .The breakfast and nutrition is so crucial for so many students and a lot of helped for the families. These programs really helped minorities and new comers . Please, don't take these programs away.

We need this program in our community. It's such a wise investment of funds, with huge payoffs both now and in the future!

As a Marshall parent, and very active volunteer, I want to add my voice. This isn't an option but a NEED for many families, and a valuable asset to the whole school community. Need is especially great with team sports being suspended in the pandemic, and more students free after school.

The LACER program is a crucial
after school program for Marshall HS providing meals, tutoring sports programs and a safe space for students to excel. Cutting this resource for our students is denying them access to these much needed resources. Hundreds of students rely on this program for supervised activities on campus all year long. Cutting this program would put these kids on the streets after school without parental or teacher involvement.

These after-school programs provide desperately needed services to students. Not only do they provide a safe, supportive environment for students after-school, but they help to empower students and keep them engaged in their academic programs. Please do not defund these after-school programs.
