You need to take these poor turtles like this right to the dens offices. Along with the news crow.

these turtles don't know any better and are falling into traps. sad of FIU to not protect them.

We should be taking a better care of our campus pets. This is something that can be prevented. As an FIU graduate; I believe something can be done to protect our "Campus Pets!"

Dear FIU President, Please surround these lakes with a mini fence, or any cost effective barrier to stop the turtles from getting crushed. Plus, it could pose a traffic hazard to motorists who might swerve to avoid crushing the turtles. I have had turtles as pets, and I can tell you that they areally pretty bright for a reptile. Please don't get rid of them because the sighting of the turtles is pleasant and peaceful. Thank you.

I'm glad someone started this petition! It breaks my heart to see a poor animal killed out of negligence.

No animal deserves this. The road to extinction often starts with incidents like this, so why not prevent it now before it's too late.

All live matters always, sadly there are some species that are unable to protect them self from us, we should be doing our best to protect those in danger.

Please take better care of the animals within campus. They are our responsability.
