My concerns are over the congestion on Frogston Road. There are large new housing estates all around this area now and this road will not cope with the volume. When there is a problem on the Bypass, Frogston Road is the alternative....can you imagine. Also, because of the new housing around this area, what's going to be put in place regarding Doctors, Dentists and Schools which are already bursting at the seams?

This is agricultural land and should not be built on. The locals services, GPs, dentists, primary school, are full. The proposal will not help the homelessness issue as they claim.

This development should not go ahead, there is not enough infrastructure (roads, GP surgeries, public transport) to support it. No more greenfield developments are needed to solve Edinburgh’s housing needs. This is not social housing so will do nothing to address housing problems. All it will do is make it more difficult for those who commute by bus (lower socioeconomic groups) to get to work as it will over congest the road.

The 2030 city plan for development has removed this area of land from future development due to it being green belt. We must only redevelop on brown field sites. Local infrastructure is pushed to its limits with lack of gp services and schools for these new developments.

We need to retain some productive farm land locally. There are already far too many new houses being built without the necessary infrastructure. A balance must be maintained between the provision of homes and natural green spaces untouched by modern development otherwise the charm snd attraction of this suburban part of Edinburgh will be lost forever.

What is happening to our beautiful greenbelt? It means nothing now. This is nothing but money-making greed masquerading as social conscience. Build on brownfield sites and let Edinburgh retain her green. Edinburgh Council should be ashamed of itself allowing its greenbelt to be violated like this, allowing the building of ticky-tacky little box houses on its verdant surroundings.

There is not enough infrastructure to support the current local population, doctors all full to capacity and not taking on new patients, no NHS dentists, schools full to capacity, no local shops. Traffic congestion already an issue on Frogston Road.
These issues need to be addressed prior to building more houses.
