This is such a wonderful community cafe and it would be a shame for the council / greedy developers to close it down without taking into account the lives of hard working people whom they’ll be putting out.

I stand with this café. It serves the community. It helps us to calm down from the stress of hustlings and bustlings of every day life. There is a peace and serenity It provides. Very good for our mental health. It further provides alternative option to some bad habits of going elsewhere to get drunk. The food served is healthy too. If this space is not there many things could go wrong with the mental wellbeing of its customers among others. An exceptional meeting place with friends and families, with great staff.

The cafe is our favourite place in the area for affordable breakfast and great lunch food. We love coming here and the owners quickly remembered us as their regulars, always making us feel welcome and having little chat - you really feel the sense of community. There is no similar place in the neighbourhood - please don't close ❤️

What a shock after so few months. Meanwhile Space owes us a meeting to learn for what reason this business has been axed. With no licence for alcohol, I would be amazed if it is because of complaints from the neighbourhood. Where are the Ward Councillors on this? Is Meanwhile Space doing it on the instruction of the @WestminsterCityCouncil?
Let’s keep the cafe.
