This is a traditional kind of thing the council is being petty

We should be supporting our small businesses not discouraging them. But then the council only cares about the money generated for them like the raising of prices (AGAIN) of the car parks and evening and sunday charges.

Please let a local business do an honest day's work and stay open.

I love this stall. It's a very innovative cottage industry serving home made confectionery. Kids will buy sweets and better they buy home made fudge than sour sweets which strip skin from the roof of their mouthes from the supermarket. Let her know what the complaint was and allow her to rectify it.

Let us keep this stall; this is an important part of our local community. It would be a great shame to lose it.

This is just an ordinary person trying to make a living , what's the problem. The things she sells are lovely home made quality produce. And always good to see her little stall outside her house. I would say it added a little of "old England" to maldon but perhaps that's wrong these days since all the foreigners are coming here..... Best we build a mosque .....pshhht

This is a lovely stall and the lady is very friendly. I have purchased from her and the food was of really good quality. It will be a terrible shame to shut her down.

I love seeing things like this in Maldon, I haven't personally been to the stall but know people that have and love it! Why anyone would complain is beyond me, what harm is being done?

There are takeaways and restaurants in the town that have no certification and serve goodness knows what and are allowed to trade. The poor lady has done nothing wrong but try to earn a living!
