The Entrance has always been a popular place for families, removing the carnival rides is a backward step. There is plenty of space on the waterfront for these rides without impacting other users of the green space. Soon there will be nothing suitable for families, with the loss of water slides, as well as putt putt and 10 pin bowling.

A tragedy if this historic amusement park was closed down.It plays a big part of visitors and locals enjoyment of The Entrance.

Happy for the very infrequently used and unsightly dodgem car structure to go but the rest of the amusement park should stay

We need to hold onto these icons. This is just another potential blow to our community. The Entrance has been slowly dying and we need support to revitalise this popular tourist destination, instead of bureaucrats who seem intent on destroying it.
