This carnival has been there my whole life, it’s one thing the entrance is known for, great times great memories great laughs.
If you take the one thing that has been here forever away, no one will come to the entrance, there is absolutely nothing to do besides go to the family carnival.

Please keep it, it is the only thing going for The Entrance. Nothing else is there. It gives the kids something to do during the summer. Can't believe you want to take it away! Central Coast was great 13 years ago when we moved here but slowly going to the dumps. Leave things for people to see and do.

The amusements have become the heart and soul of the entrance. Take them away what do the people have to do for entertainment purposes. Picture theatres closed down. Boat shed up for sale, the markets have gone from a whole park set up every 2 weeks to a once a month of 2 rows. Stage entertainment for the kids is non existent anymore. Now the only thing that’s left going good for the entrance is wanting to be taken away. In an economy crisis where jobs are hard to come by what will the staff that work for the companies do if they have to move on? The local shop keepers would also rely on these amusements over the busy periods when the holidays season is on. How much more is going to be taken away from the entrance? That used to be a bustling tourist spot and now it’s a sad place full of homeless people and closed down shops. Let’s focus on the housing crisis and get the homeless into houses and let the iconic attractions stay to bring the entrance back to life that it once was.
