We used to liveon the Central Coast butnow travel back from Queensland. The kids always want to go to the carnival at the Entrance. Nowhere else has anything like it. So much tourism will be lost if it goes.

The Entrance Amusement Centre has been an iconic place for family fun for nearly 100 years. It draws people to The Entrance, which also needs attractions to help the local economy.

If these attractions go the entrance will become a ghost town it’s the only reason why we come up here so the kids can have fun. Nothing else up here to enjoy.

This is preposterous! Can the Crown Lands please think of the joy the rides and carnival brings to people!
The Entrance has always been a haven for people of all socioeconomic groups, the rich and the strugglers.
Why deprive lower income families of a joyous holiday !
We’ve been coming to the entrance for 50 years, first as a struggling migrant family brought by parents wanting to give their kids some affordable holiday fun and half a century later, after I’ve made a few bucks and have travelled the globe I still holiday at the entrance a few times a a year. Nostalgic, typical Aussie as well as a melting pot of fun. Don’t take the carnival away from the people - it’s part of the Entrance’s DNA! Don’t hand it your vested interest , corporate tyrants, don’t mess with the fabric of this area - shame on you for even considering it.

The carnival is the entrance, it’s bad enough all the shops are empty and food shops close at 7! Now you want to rip more life out of the place
