Selling Empire Mine State Park would be a travesty. I oppose the selling of Empire MIne. Meant to be a public park and never sold

Needs to be kept, not sold. Need to fix the proposed project and complete it, not just throw 3 million down the tunnel so to speak!!!

Why isn't Newmont paying for the remediation as they retained the mineral rights and should have requisite responsibility. The leaching is from mining activity, not activities of the State Park. Taxpayers are shouldering the clean up costs..

This is an important piece of the history of this area, It allows for beautiful open area and pubic use that is needed. Imagine what San Francisco would be like if they misguidely sold Golden Gate Park to developers.
