I love Empire Mine, please don't close it. I've visited it ever since I was young, and I never want to see it closed. It's such a beautiful historical place, and we should protect it.

This is a local beautiful park that I use every week. Its a very special place that most of Nevada County loves and uses. We must not allow this to be sold....

This park is an important historical site that belongs to the people of California. It needs to stay that way.

This park should belong to the State as a treasure not to some private company to make a fast buck!! Do not sell the park. There has to be another way.

This is one of the most beautiful areas in Nevada County. It is a huge part of California's Mining legacy and it would be a shame if it were taken away from the public.

I work at the park and as a kid I lived there. Both of my parents worked at Empire Mine. To say it is important to me would be an understatement.
