This is a great resource! We love hiking, picnicking, running and biking here. Such great volunteers who know the history of the mine and the area.

I grew up with this mine and the fact that it's not being taken care of is like a slap in the face. Our history in California was due in large part to this area and if it hadn't been for this mine we wouldn't have had as much recognition. Save our park so our future children can enjoy the history and have something to be proud of.

I walked to school thru that beautiful place every day , i also explored every inch.Empire mine is a very important part of my fond memories growing up
