I just moved here from Southern Calif. One of the reasons I moved here was for the history....it must be preserved in the State Park System to maintain its integrity. It is one of our great treasures.

This has been one of my favorite places growing up in Nevada County and I love going there when I'm back in town. I would really appreciate being able to take my kids there one day maybe once I move back and settle down in Nevada County.

I took a field trip to the Empire Mind in the 4th grade and at that young age, I decided I wanted to get married here. That hasn't happened yet, so we need to keep this park alive!

I visited this park on educational field trips as a child. To sell this would be dishonring the educational history and millions if memories this park has provided to Californian residents.
This place has too much history to be sold.
