The Bourne mansion is in serious disrepair. Keep it in the state park system and get a capable conservator to manage the park properly.

Please don't sell Empire Mine Park. This is one of my favorite places in the world. I love walking here weekly and have been doing so for years. This would be a great loss to the community and myself.

This mine was one of the major contributors to the building of our great state. What a shame!

This park is a gem for tourists and locals alike. It has features of great historical interest with a very educational mining tour featuring lovingly maintained buildings and equipment, lovely gardens with historically relevant plants, a beautiful architectural gem in the stone manor house, and a terrific wilderness area with access for hikers, riders and bicyclists of all ability levels. Only the most selfish of self-interested individuals or corporations would see any benefit from removing this park from California State stewardship. No private interest could possibly benefit and serve the broad swath of Nevada County citizens and visiting tourists that this park currently serves and benefits. DO NOT SELL!
