I know that releases are withheld to lower salinity in the lower Delaware. The danger is not only trout mortality, but also major releases during heavy rain storms/hurricanes and other traumatic weather events. this can also result in river flooding, rod washouts and death, and has happened several times in recent years.

I am glad someone started this petition. The weather has not been kind to Delaware rivers this spring, and the fish are now at risk. If we have the ability to mitigate these water conditions, we should do something about it. People head to places like Downsville, Deposit, Hancock, and Roscoe in order to enjoy the surrounding natural resources, so it seems like good sense to take steps to insure the immediate health of those resources. And let's all do a rain dance while we're at it!

If your waiting for a large fish kill,its already too late. this is something we have gone back and forth about. Please consider that the weather is worse and the danger of a natural resourse being lost forever.

I have a seaonal cabin on the West Branch of the Delaware and we do need more water for all of the reasons already stated. Not fishing because of too much stress on the fish.

It is critical to one of the most pristine places east of the Mississippi River that everything possible be done to preserve this great resource. Millions are poured into the economy from hundreds of miles around because of the fishery. Please use common sense in releasing water to the Delaware River System.

We have one of the most precious trout fisheries in the East! Let's take care of it and protect it. Also, the low water has kept me from fishing there the last two weeks. That's less money spent locally!
The Delaware system is good enough that I no longer need to fish in Montana. Give us more, cold water!

I fish the Upper Delaware system many times a year. I employ a local guide for my trips, I purchase things from the local stores and I eat in the local restaurants when I go. Maintaining this valuable resource will help to maintain the local economy.

The current release of 129 million gallons per day out of Cannonsville, as compared to the 90.5 billion gallons that are currently in it (not counting Walton's current inflow) equates to a tenth of a percent of capacity released per day. There has to be room for a world class resource and its local economy here.

This is getting pretty ridiculous. Please release water. Not only are you losing out on revunue from the fishing industry, but quite possibly killing wild and great population of fish.
