With all the studies performed and funded by private entities, major conservation organizations and countless donations by concerned citizens, I cannot believe that our elected and appointed officials continue to play "GOD" with our most precious natural resources. These rivers are the lifeblood to thousands of people and tens of thousands of fish, birds and animals!

This beautiful river, ecosystem, and the many local businesses are at the mercy of a few important people and the decisions made from within their offices. With the reservoir over 90% full there should be conservative, sustained releases. It does not help anyone to suffer through this alarmingly low flow, sitting on a full reservoir of water. Waiting for rain to release water makes no sense; it will result in flooding when the rain does come, which will do nothing to protect the ecosystem or area. Drought/flood, drought/flood is not responsible management of a resource.

Please protect this ecosystem with a cold water release and sustainable management practices.

People and fisherman come from all over the world to fish and enjoy the Upper Delaware system. As you know the precious eco-balance is in some trouble due to high temps and low water. There is no reason not to release more water now. Reservoir levels are at normal and there is room for some releases.

Please do the right thing and release water. The ecosystem and economy of the area depend on it
