I've traveled from Alexandria VA to visit a friend in Roscoe NY several times in the past decade and fished the Delaware each time. I usually stop in at Lake Wallenpaupak to see another family friend on my way. Unfortunately I will have to make alternate plans given the state of the Delaware.

the city of ny has shown that it is not responsible enough to determine water releases from these reservoirs. what we have seen is gross indifference to the life and property of the people who live in the river corridors.

To All Concerned,
This matter is no longer just a fishing issue. Water releases from NYC owned reservoirs must consider the needs of down basin states and the people living just below the reservoirs. Protection of our lives,personal property, and health of our local economies are all directly connected to water released or spilling from the Delaware Reservoirs. Please help your downstream neighbors and consider the requests we have been making for years in our FAIR SHARE document which we have submitted to all Decree Party Members.

Please adjust the releases in spring and throughout summer to keep the Delaware River and its branches with substantial flows to prevent stressing trout and other fish.
