I think the benefits of the current use of the deck far exceed any alleged negative impacts. The impact on parking is negligible. This beautiful outdoor space is a fantastic supplementary space for wia customers. I have used the deck many times in the past as a wia customer and have never observed any excessive noise being generated. The benefits of the deck to the Newcastle community must be considered greater than any minor parking or noise concerns particularly when balanced w the NCC plans to encourage less cars in the city area, the operating hours and purpose of the business. It's not like it's a nightclub operating until all hours!

What is art cafe is a go to place for me, living 3 hours away from Newcastle I always can’t wait to get there, grab a bowl and enjoy myself and relax on the deck! You can’t beat it anywhere in Newcastle
