This is a county treasure and should be protected!

The curtain theater is a true Mill Valley treasure – and a gift to the entire bay area. There free performances under the redwoods are an experience we look forward to each summer, and give hundreds of local families an opportunity for their children to be exposed to Shakespeare in a loving and friendly environment -- and at no cost to them. All of the performers do this as a labor of love, and it would be a tragedy for Millvalley to lose this treasure.

My husband and I travel each August from Saint Paul, MN to Mill Valley to see this doughty and talented crew perform Shakespeare outside. We think it deserves the full support of the local community; the Curtain Theatre enhances the cultural delight of your town. Many theatre-goers patronize your restaurants and shops before and after the play, and explore the town's many charms. Curtain Theatre should stay in the park and continue to entertain the community (and out-of-state fans!) Go Shakespeare!

I have been a patron of the Curtain Theatre for the 19 years it has brought joy and enlightenment to the community. The arts are essential for a vibrant, informed and cultured community and the Curtain serves those goals and Mill Valley well.

The activities going on in Old Mill Park have great impact on the larger community of Mill Vally. It is a shame, that after many years this wonderful Shakespearean company's performances are threatened for the sake of a few. What a gift they bring to us. Keep community activity in Old Mill Park!

The many free or low-cost recreational and cultural activities in held in MV's parks contribute to the community's vibrancy and should not be discontinued because of the time-limited noise concerns of a few residents.

As a third generation Mill Valley resident I appreciate the history of this theater, it's accessibility and it's impact on the arts. It's one of the things that makes MV so great and we should support it.

This is a wonderful venue for Mill Valley and beyond.

Theater in the park is wonderful and long-standing (19 years); free Shakespeare in the Park for the Mill Valley community. Keep them alive!

Keep the Art and Theater in Old Mill Park. How lucky we are to have Shakespeare in such a special place.

This is the most wonderful free entertainment for Mill Valley. How on earth are these folks going cope with the Fall Arts Festival. Youngsters also perform in these productions.

The experiences the Curtain Theater provides are singular. There is no other company or venue that offers really well done shows in a unique setting. Watching the actors in the redwoods is a wonderful experience and must be nurtured and treasured!
