I have been a patron of curtain for awhile. I also worked in Old Mill Park...To me the incredible joy of an old school Mill Valley is a diversity of experience. Some of that is lost. I might guess some of this comes from night time rehearsals, but truly, there must be some sort of compromise. FREE THEATRE???? NOT DISTURBED BY people walking through(in fact, that's all part of it). This is a Mill Valley event that shouldn't be taken away.

As a Mill Valley resident who has attended multiple Curtain Theatre productions (which bring so much happiness & interest to the area) I fully support their cause. Afternoon noise in a park is a normal situation in the summer months (whether a play or just locals playing in the park)! More family outdoor activities like this would actually be amazing! Thank you for fighting to keep the arts alive and attainable to all in the Marin community!

I've enjoyed this theater with loved ones, and they make for wonderful summer memories... The Curtain Theater should be allowed to continue assembling respectfully to provide the public with quality art, and more memories for others.

The park and its open activities free for all to enjoy, no matter their station in life, are part of the heart of Mill Valley. Those who buy in the beautiful area near the park need to understand that is the price one pays for living near a park, no matter where, the noises of people and a community enjoying themselves.

Don’t let the group of nouveau riche entitlement people stop all the citizens of Mill Valley doing what they’ve enjoyed her years

Performances and other events in the Park give exciting color and texture to Mill Valley. They are a place to meet and share--so important to the lifeblood of the community!

Theatre is important. Simple as that.

Events in Old Mill Park are vital to the cultural life of Mill Valley, and keep us from becoming a mere "bedroom community". Keeping people in town means less commutation, so less impact on the roads and less pollution. A little noise is a small price to pay to keep the community intact.

Access should never be denied to small theater, using the park stage!

Please keep Old Mill Park open for cultural events, as it always has been. The Park has been a vital cultural asset for our community all my life and I would hate to lose it!

We love to go to performances at the Curtain Theatre and would hate to see it curtailed.

Consistent with the community arts vision and goals of Mill Valley's 2040 general plan, we should be expanding public artistic performances and exhibits, not restricting them.

The Curtain Theater and the Old Mill Park Shakespeare performances are a true cultural treasure and one of the things that makes Mill Valley great. These performances are free of charge which means that everyone can attend, which is a rarity in expensive Marin. Old Mill Park is a public park and is there for the benefit of the entire community. Let's keep it that way!

I am an Australian who brings guests from home to the theatre every year - the fact it can be in such a superb environment, in the infamous Mill Valley, is such an added treat to the experience. One of the most memorable theatre experiences of all time.

The Curtain Theatre is a wonderful resource to our community. Keep in mind their performances are during the day. I love hearing them practicing and performing as I live in Cascade Canyon. They belong as we all do in Old Mountain Park.
