Please allow the Curtain to maintain their ability to use the Park! I feel we must do all we can to promote the arts in Mill Valley. Thank you!

Keep community activities in the park within reasonable hours, but keep them going! We considered buying a house beside the park and chose not to, partly because we didn’t want to deal with noise and parking issues. People who have chosen to live there have to accept the pros and cons of their choice.

This custom is one of the best, last remaining cultural events that make me remember what a sweet small town Mill Valley can still be at times. I'm appalled that the complaining neighbors can't find a way to survive an event that doesn't go on so very long, they should be so lucky as to have that as a "problem."

How perilously close are we to losing everything that made our neighborhoods worth living in the first place! As a fellow-Marin-dweller (Sausalito) and a Shakespeare fantastic, I asked that the Curtain Theatre be permitted to continue its wonderful work!

As a teacher and resident of Mill Valley for many years, I view the Shakespeare performances as an invaluable and easily accessed opportunity to expose people of all ages (esp. young kids) to the magic of live Shakespearean theater. Catching their interest while they are young is a huge plus - they don't need to understand all that's happening, but seeing and hearing the spectacle of it all can make a lasting impression, and fuel their curiosity. Please save!

I’ve lived in Mill Valley on and off since 1973. I attend Shakespeare in the Park almost every year. I enjoy and appreciate this opportunity. Please keep Shakespeare for all! If this gores is the Fall Arts Festival next?

This is not the kind of thing residents should fear, but should embrace. Community interaction, laughter and shared experience in a beautiful setting - please keep it going!

The annual events in Old Mill Park are part of the unique character of the Mill Valley community, and we should do our best to preserve them.

I am a fourth generation Mill Valley resident living next to Old Mill Park and have worked in sound editing and design for 25 years. I sincerely enjoy the 'WALLA' and sonic atmosphere of the Curtain Theatre's performances, Mill Valley Fall Arts Festival, etc. The sound and activity never go late, and these are the events that make Mill Valley special as a place to live.

For several years I have enjoyed Curtain Theater productions. It is such a joy to see folks come to share the fun. Most audiences are a mix of every age. There aren't many places where families with children on up to seniors can gather for free. this is what Old Mill Park was created for...a venue for all of our town.

All the events at Old Mill Park, like the Curtain, reflect the inclusivity and artful culture of this town. Do not further destroy the old Mill Valley by this. It would be wrong.
