PLEASE DO NOT limit the Curtain Theatre’s schedule. They are an important cultural foundation to Mill Valley. This wonderful theater is part of our cultural history.

I don’t know what in heaven would prompt those who are trying to curtail use of the park by Curtain Theater but good lord please keep access to this gem of a tradition in Mill Valley. I mean what’s not to like? Do they get a bunch of Hell’s Angels revving their Harleys after getting all riled up by Shakespeare?

Theater is an important component of a community.

Curtain Theatre is a jewel in the community and deserves full support from its neighbors! It showcases local talent and brings rich and accessible cultural offerings to a devoted audience. The grove is the perfect forum for families and children to cultivate a life-long love of classical theatre in a beautiful natural environment. In these troubled times, the arts are more relevant than ever as they incarnate the lessons of history. The play's the thing!!

Please do not restrict Curtain Theatre's use of the park. Their contribution of beautifully crafted and free outdoor theatre for the entire Bay Area is perfection in a nutshell. The thought and love that is shared in these experiences is exactly what our world is lacking. What an incredible loss if Curtain could no longer provide us with one of the last forms of true magic that is left.

We need this theater. Please help save it.

This Mill Valley gem of a theatre has a value that far outweighs resident's concerns.

I live out of the area (Sonoma County) & make sure that I bring my family to Mill Valley to see the free shows that the Curtain Theatre provides. This is one of the rare cultural events that are available for free to all. Please keep this program going!!!

It is shocking to me that the residents or government of Mill Valley would even consider ending a program that has offered free art and culture in a public park for 19 years. The Curtain Theatre and Old Mill Park are public resources for all, not the private property of a few homeowners. If the park is available for private weddings, then it should certainly be available for public art.
