Heaven forbid a small-time entrepreneur try to make a living. What a shame it would be to lose the Crown & Crumpet Tearoom.

The loss of the garden would be a dreadful blow to the effectiveness and charm of this unique and wonderful venue. This is a great, creative entrepreneur who is contributing to the "draw" of Jordan as much as any other. Pulling her weight. I have seen people from as far north as Barrie come here specifically, Brampton, Collingwood, Action. If one takes the capacity of the Crown and Crumpet of 26 seats, divided by 7 cars, at 3 persons per car .... well, it speaks for itself. Most would come in cars with 4 or five for tea. 26 divided by 4? Not a burden on the municipality! Support worthy entrepreneurs for heaven sake!

why is the town pursuing this matter when we don't even have adequate washroom facilities for the public. That is a far more pressing issue frankly.

I fully agree and support you on this. Jordan has more parking than most small towns. Good luck!

Small businesses need the opportunity to thrive and there is plenty of parking in Jordan. I know I have family there and lived there myself.

I believe business that enriches the culture and provides such a lovely service should be preserved! Each situation should be looked upon desperately and it seems rightly unfair that the issue be unsurpassable now? Considering the room has been open for years already. It would be a true same to lose such a gem because of something so ridiculous.

I think every situation should be looked at separately. We don't want this place to close.
