This saddens me to no end. I've no idea why they were taken from us, but I see no legitimate reason why they were. Come on people, let's save the couches!

Those couches are more than just furniture. They're a bed after a long, frustrating day. They're a meeting place for every year of our program. They're a place for emergency meetings where you can get screamed at by your producer, where the couches support you both physically and emotionally. Bring them back to us.

They may have been old but dang it those couches were comfortable! The new benches are sterile looking and not nearly as pleasant to sit on.

Some of our best meetings for classes happened at those couches! Great friendships and memories were forged at those couches! Some of my best naps were on those couches!

Long stressful day in College, lots of work, homework, studying. How does one relax? Of course! Lounging on a comfortable piece of furniture. But wait, the couches are removed? How must one student sit down and unwind and clear his thoughts and mind to become much more confident and free so he can study and do his/her test with ease? I know, adding the couches back!

As a graduate of the program I have to say that every student who has a class in the voyageur wing has so many social memories on these couches. They were an area for groups to discuss projects, where ideas were created where we could unwind after a long day. This petition might be silly but by removing the couches you're removing the heart of the voyageur wing.
