I support the belief that our history and the ones that played a part are to be remembered with honor. This is the battle flag they fought and died under and flying it pays tribute and says we honor the sacifice. I served under the flag brought about by a bunch of traitors against their King and if the British citizens wanted it taken down as offensive I'll be standing up for that one also. Keep both flags flying proudly at our courthouse we are Southern Americans and proud of it.

This is a historical monument and representative of local and state history. Leave the flag in its place.

This flag is a piece of history and is a symbol of freedom and heritage from the oppression of the north on the south. to those who are truly educated about it it is not a symbol of hate or segregation but is often seen as such by the uneducated due to misguided history.

As much as anyone tries, history can never be changed. I see this flag as a memorial to the men who fought and died protecting their homes and families. I say that we should leave it alone to honor their memory as well as a moment in history. I do not own a Rebel flag and I probably never will, but taking it down dishonors "VETERANS" and I am highly opposed to anyone every disrespecting an American Veteran no matter what flag they fought under!
